Vorwerk vacuum cleaner filters and dust bags by part number

Vorwerk's FP100 Premium filter bags for the Kobold VB100 cordless vacuum, five to a pack. Change the bag when the LED display lights up yellow or the vacuum loses suction. The bag slides into the filter cover; the cover won't close if the bag is missing or not fitted properly.

After the change: No reset: the yellow light clears once a new bag is in.

Vorwerk's own FP7 filter bags for the Kobold VK7 cordless vacuum, six to a pack. Change the bag when the filter-change symbol flashes; Vorwerk Australia says a 0.8 litre bag lasts up to 2 to 3 months in an average-sized home. The bag seals itself as you take it out, and the VK7 won't close without a bag fitted properly.

Change it every 2 months; 5 steps, no tools.

After the change: No reset: the filter-change symbol clears once a new bag is in.

Fits the Kobold VK7.

The motor protection filter that sits between the bag and the motor in the Kobold VK7. Vorwerk says it can be cleaned as often as needed, by vacuuming it or rinsing it under cold water and drying it for 24 hours, and only needs replacing if it is damaged, extremely dirty or gummed up, or after a bag has been damaged. Never run the VK7 without it.

The motor protection filter that clips into the filter cover of the Kobold VB100, between the bag and the motor. Vorwerk says it can be cleaned again and again by tapping or vacuuming it, never with water, and only needs replacing if it is extremely dirty or sticky, or after a bag has been damaged.

Fits the Kobold VB100.

The filter unit that sits inside the dust chamber of the Kobold VC100 handheld vacuum (the Cordless Mini Vac). Vorwerk sells it as a replaceable part; the VC100 must only be used with the original filter unit fitted. Vorwerk gives no interval: clean it when you empty the dust chamber and replace it when it is damaged or won't come clean.

A left and right pair of replacement roller brushes for the EB7 electric floor brush that comes with the Kobold VK7. The left brush has a green end and the right a grey end. Vorwerk gives no interval; check the underside from time to time and cut wound-up hair off along the groove with scissors.

A left and right pair of replacement roller brushes for the EBB100 electric brush of the Kobold VB100. Vorwerk's VB100 manual says to check and clean the brushes once a month and replace them when worn out or when they stop picking up fibres well. The green-ended brush goes on the left, the grey-ended one on the right.

Vorwerk's BY7 lithium-ion battery for the Kobold VK7, sold as a spare or replacement. Vorwerk Australia says the VK7 runs for up to 61 minutes depending on settings, and the manual says the battery ages with use so its run time drops. Use only the original Vorwerk battery and charger, and fully charge it at least once a year if it is stored.

Vorwerk's spare lithium-ion battery pack for the Kobold VB100 cordless vacuum. Vorwerk says every battery slowly loses its capacity to hold a charge, so cleaning time per charge drops with frequent use. The pack slides in from underneath behind the filter cover and can also be charged on its own with the VB100 charger.
