  1. 1Switch the VK7 off and lay it down or stand it in the standby position.
  2. 2Take the filter cover off with the release lever.
  3. 3Press the battery locking lever while you pull the release lever upwards, then pull the battery out of its guide rail in the filter cover.
  4. 4Fit the new BY7 battery the same way and refit the filter cover. Charge it only with the Vorwerk charger.
