- 1Lift the pre-filter out of the top of the bin assembly (the Dyson Ball's clear bin lifts off the machine first).
- 2Wash it in cold water only, no detergent, and leave it to dry for at least 24 hours. Dyson sells a replacement only for a damaged filter.
- 3Refit the dry filter and click the bin back on.
