How to change the filter in your Vax VX38

- 1Switch the vacuum off and unplug it, then press the release catch and lift the dirt container off.
- 2Open the dirt container lid and lift out the pre-motor filter; check the shroud underneath.
- 3Fit the new pre-motor filter, or wash the old one in water no hotter than 40°C and let it dry fully.
- 4Swap the HEPA post-motor filter for the new one from the pack. Never wash the post-motor filter; tap it clean between changes.
- 5Refit the lid and click the dirt container back onto the vacuum.
