  1. 1Take the water tank off, empty it and lift out the water filter.
  2. 2Dissolve one 25 g sachet in 1 litre of water and pour it into the tank up to MAX.
  3. 3Put a large container under the group head and steam wand and start descale mode. Barista Express and Infuser: press and hold 2 CUP, then press and hold POWER. Barista Express Impress: with the machine off, hold 2 CUP and POWER together for 5 seconds. Barista Pro: MENU, then DESCALE. Barista Touch: Settings, then Descale cycle. Bambino: hold 2 Cup and Steam for 5 seconds. Turn the steam dial when the machine tells you.
  4. 4Dual Boiler, Dynamic Duo, Oracle and Oracle Touch: let the machine cool for at least an hour, choose Descale from the menu, drain the boilers through the descale access valves with a flat-head screwdriver, then fill the tank with the solution to MAX and follow the screen. Allow about an hour and a half.
  5. 5When the solution is used up, rinse the tank, fill it with fresh cold water to MAX, run the rinse and refit the water filter.
