  1. 1When the machine shows Descaling, open the menu or the JURA Cockpit, choose Descaling and press Start.
  2. 2Empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds container, then take out and empty the water tank. Take the CLARIS filter out if one is fitted.
  3. 3Dissolve three tablets (one blister) completely in 500 ml of water, or 600 ml on the J10, GIGA 6, GIGA 10, Z6 and Z8, and pour it into the tank. The J10 twin fills the tank to its DESCALE mark; the Z10 follows the display.
  4. 4Put one container under the hot-water spout and one under the milk spout and continue. The programme takes about 20 minutes on current models and 40 to 45 on ENA, GIGA, J6, J8, Z6 and Z8.
  5. 5When asked, empty the containers and the drip tray, rinse the tank, fill it with fresh cold water and start the rinse.
