The water filters
CLARIS Smart+ Filter Cartridge24232OS · 18 modelsfrom $25.00The Jura CLARIS Smart+ (article 24232, sold in Australia as 24232OS) is the RFID-chipped cartridge for Jura machines with the Intelligent Water System. The machine detects the filter, routes water through it and tells you when its capacity is used up. Jura rates it at 40 to 65 litres depending on water hardness and cites TÜV Rheinland hygiene certification for its maintenance products.
Change it every 2 months; 4 steps, no tools.
After the change: No manual reset: the RFID chip is read when the cartridge is fitted, the machine switches to filter mode and rinses, and it prompts for a change when capacity is used. On models with the filter extension, twist the old cartridge anticlockwise to remove, clip the extension onto the new one, push in and twist clockwise until it clicks.
Fits 18 Jura models: C8, C9, E10, E6, E8, ENA 4, ENA 8, GIGA 10, GIGA 6, J10, J10 twin, J6 and 6 more.
Brand names describe compatibility only; FitMatch is independent of Jura. Fitment sources are recorded on every model page.
