About Jura water filters

Jura filters are named CLARIS: CLARIS Smart+ (article 24232) fits machines with the Intelligent Water System such as the GIGA, Z, J, S, E, D and ENA ranges, while older IMPRESSA and ENA Micro machines take CLARIS Blue+ and the IMPRESSA S9 Classic takes CLARIS White. Capacity depends on water hardness, from about 65 litres in soft water down to 40 litres in very hard water. Smart+ machines track filter use and prompt you to change it; if you do not, the machine switches to descaling mode.

1Take the water tank off the machine and empty it. Lift the old CLARIS Smart+ cartridge out of its holder in the tank.
2Set the month on the new cartridge's dial, then push it firmly into the holder until it seats.
3Fill the tank with fresh cold water and refit it. The machine detects the new cartridge and rinses it; let the rinse water run into the drip tray.
4Replace when the machine asks for it, about every 2 months or 50 litres.
