- 1Switch the dishwasher off, let it cool (the water in the sump can be hot) and pull out the lower basket. Take care: there may be broken glass in the sump.
- 2Hold the coarse filter, turn it anticlockwise to unlock it and lift the filter assembly out.
- 3Pull the fine filter off the bottom of the assembly, and squeeze the tabs at the top to take the coarse filter off the main filter.
- 4Rinse the parts under running water; a soft brush helps.
- 5Put the parts back together in reverse order, refit them and turn clockwise to the close arrow. Do not over-tighten.
- 6To replace a damaged filter, fit the new one in its place the same way and check it locks in.
