How to change the water filter in your Billi OmniOne
Watch the guide or follow the steps.
- 1Take the front panel off the under-bench unit (OmniOne and Home BCS: open the filter cover marked OPEN HERE).
- 2Release the pressure. Eco, Sahara, Alpine 125, Home BC, Home BA, Home B5000 Sparkling, Eco Sparkling and Quadra Sparkling: press the Pressure Relief button once. Other Quadra models: hold ON/OFF until the screen shows OVERRIDE OFF. OmniOne and Home BCS: press CHANGE FILTER. Home CS and Alpine Sparkling: turn off the blue tap under the bench and use the lever to release the pressure. Alpine 60/120, Home C, Home FT and Filter Tap: turn the water off at the wall, set the temperature control to OFF and open the tap.
- 3Hold the bottom of the filter, swing it towards you about 30 degrees, then pull it straight down out of the cradle. Wipe up any water in the tray.
- 4Remove the cardboard or foam spacer from under the new filter, push it right up into the cradle and swing it back until it locks.
- 5Flush: Quadra (not Sparkling), OmniOne and Home BCS flush themselves. Home CS and Alpine Sparkling: turn the blue tap back on and flush for 3 minutes. Alpine 60/120, Home C, Home FT and Filter Tap: turn the water back on and run the tap 2–3 minutes. All others, Quadra Sparkling included: run the chilled side until the flow stops, wait 10 minutes and repeat twice. Check for leaks and refit the panel.

Common questions
- Which water filter fits the Billi OmniOne?
- The Billi OmniOne takes the Billi 5 micron Fibron X replacement filter 994051.
- How often should I replace the water filter in my Billi OmniOne?
- Every 12 months. Flow slows and performance drops off as the filter fills up, so it's worth doing on time.
- Where can I buy the 994051 in Australia?
- We track 6 Australian sellers for the 994051; the lowest listed price when we last checked was A$189.00 at eBay AU. Prices are re-checked daily and dated on this page.
- How do I fit the 994051 in a Billi OmniOne?
- No tools, a few minutes: 5 steps, listed on this page with the replacement video where the maker has one.
- What happens if I don't change it?
- The carbon stops reducing chlorine taste and odour and the flow from the tap slows as the cartridge clogs; a boiling-water tap with a scale-reducing filter builds scale in its tank faster.
- How do I reset the reminder?
- Billi's guides give no separate reset step: the filter monitor counts cups and days, and Billi's service line (1800 812 321) can reprogram the interval if needed.
