  1. 1Remove the battery pack.
  2. 2Press the two release tabs on the spool base and pull the spool retainer out.
  3. 3Take out the old spool and clean the retainer, spool area and spool base.
  4. 4Place the pre-wound spool into the retainer with its notches lined up with the retainer eyelets.
  5. 5Line up the retainer slots with the tabs on the spool base and press the retainer down evenly until it snaps into place.
