How to change the foam set in your OASE FiltoClear 19000

- 1Unplug the FiltoClear and switch off the pump that feeds it.
- 2Open the metal clamping ring with its lever and lift off the lid.
- 3Take out the foams, noting the order they sit in. The new set has coarse blue, medium purple and fine red foams (10, 20 and 30 ppi).
- 4Fit the new foams in the same order, check the lid seal, refit the lid and close the clamping ring.
- 5Switch the pump back on, then plug the filter back in. Between replacements, clean the foams with the pull-out cleaning mechanism, with the 2-way valve set to send the dirty water to waste; set it back to the pond afterwards.
