OASE pond filter foams and parts

1. 1Switch off the filter pump and unplug the unit.
2. 2Disconnect the hoses, open the closing clamps and lift off the cover with the foam package. On the BioPress 4000, hold the container down at the hold-down element.
3. 3Turn the cover upside down on a soft surface, undo the nut on the pulling rod (hold the rod with pliers), take off the press ring and pull off the foams.
4. 4Push the new foams on so the pulling rod sits in their recess, refit the press ring rod-guide down and tighten the nut. On the 6000 and 10000, check the meshed tube sits fully inside the ring.
5. 5Check the cover seal, press the cover on until the clamps engage, reconnect the hoses and run a quick clean with the cleaning handle before normal use.
