- 1Unplug the Filtral from the mains.
- 2Release the clamps on the upper filter shell and lift the shell off.
- 3Take out the filter media: a blue (coarse) and a red (fine) foam, the bio surface elements and the bag of filter ceramic.
- 4Fit the new foams. OASE says to clean the rest of the media and the filter shells with clean tap water and never to use aggressive cleaning agents.
- 5Refit the upper shell, close the clamps and plug the unit back in. The viewing window shows the UVC lamp is on.
