How to change the 6473-161J pool filter cartridge

Watch the guide or follow the steps.

How to Clean and Replace Your Hot Tub Filters · Jacuzzi® Official (official)
  1. 1Switch the spa off at the isolating switch or switchboard; Jacuzzi says always turn the power off before cleaning the filters.
  2. 2Lift the filter cover up to reach the cartridges, and unclip the ProClarity debris bag and empty it.
  3. 3Turn each cartridge handle anticlockwise to unscrew it from the wall fitting and lift it out. Filter 1 (ProClarity) is the one nearer the front of the spa.
  4. 4Pull the filter pin to separate the ProClarity cartridge from its canister, then unscrew the cartridge anticlockwise. Fit a new depth filter (6473-161J) every 3 months; never wash it.
  5. 5Rinse the pleated cartridges from the top down with a hose, or fit new ones. Reassemble the canister with the pin.
  6. 6Hold the cartridges under water to let the air out, screw them back in clockwise without over-tightening, refit the debris bag and cover, and turn the power back on.
