How to change the cartridge in your Jacuzzi J-480

- 1Switch the spa off at the isolating switch or switchboard; Jacuzzi says always turn the power off before cleaning the filters.
- 2Lift off the filter cover and the floating skimmer to reach the cartridges.
- 3Lift or unscrew the cartridge and take it out.
- 4Rinse the pleats from the top down with a hose, or fit a new cartridge. Spas from these years have no depth filter.
- 5Hold the cartridge under water to let the air out, refit it without over-tightening, refit the skimmer and cover and turn the power back on.
