125979 is Spa World's genuine pleated camlock cartridge for Vortex spas and swim spas made from June 2016 (January 2018 in New Zealand). Most Vortex spas hold three cartridges: two pleated and one Purezone, or three pleated. It twists into a camlock base with no thread. Rinse it weekly, soak it in cartridge cleaner monthly, and replace it when the water will not stay clear.

A worn thread can be fixed with Spa World's camlock adaptor, which lets the spa take camlock filters.

It cannot be cleaned: Spa World says to replace it every 3-6 months with regular use, and not to use it with a hybrid heat pump.
