How to change the gasket of your pressure cooker? | Tefal · Tefal International (official)
  1. 1Let the cooker cool, make sure there is no pressure left and open the lid.
  2. 2Turn the lid upside down and pull the old seal out of its groove.
  3. 3Clean the groove with a sponge and washing-up liquid.
  4. 4Fit the new seal under the lid. On Secure models make sure it sits under each notch; on Clipso, Acticook and Nutricook models put the side marked 'lid side' against the lid and clip it evenly under the holding device.
  5. 5Close the lid and check it locks. If steam escapes round the lid, check the seal is seated evenly.
