- 1Switch the steamer off (SC 1 Upright: press the steam on/off switch with your foot) and unplug it. Let the floor head and cloth cool.
- 2Wearing shoes, put one foot on the bottom corner of the used cloth and lift the floor head up and off it.
- 3Lay the new cloth on the floor with the hook-and-loop strips facing up.
- 4Stand the floor head on the centre of the cloth and press lightly until it holds.
- 5Wash used cloths at up to 60 °C without fabric softener; do not tumble-dry them.
