How long it lasts

Replace it when it holds 100 to 150 mm of dirt or suction drops at the hose, Valet says; check it monthly at first and never let it get more than three-quarters full.

After replacing: No reset. Ducted vacuum power units have no bag or filter reminder.

How to change the dust bag in your Valet ECOVAC.3

Watch the guide or follow the steps.

No clear video for this part yet. The steps cover it.

  1. 1Lift the lid straight off the power unit's canister. Most Valet units have no hinges or clamps.
  2. 2Slide the full bag's rubber cuff and collar off the plastic inlet stem, seal it with the adhesive tab on the collar and lift it out.
  3. 3Pull the new bag open by its opposite sides so the pleats expand.
  4. 4Put it in the canister and slide its rubber gasket onto the inlet stem until it seats in the stem's groove. Clear any lint from the gauze lint filter under the bottom baffle.
  5. 5Refit the lid carefully so it seals; a poor seal leaks air and cuts suction.
