- 2Put a towel down and a shallow tray in front of the machine, then open the small cover at the bottom front.
- 3Let the water out slowly into the tray (through the small emptying hose or by loosening the filter a little), emptying the tray as it fills.
- 4Unscrew the filter anticlockwise, remove lint and any objects, and rinse it under the tap.
- 5Screw the filter back in clockwise until it is tight so it does not leak, and close the cover.
