Zip filtered water tap filters by part number

93701 is Zip's MicroPurity 0.2 micron filter, size 1, for residential HydroTaps made after February 2017 (the G5 range and late G4 units), the MiniBoil and the Zip 3 Way Filtered Mixer Tap. It sits in the under-sink command centre behind the front door and twists out a quarter turn. Zip says to change it every 12 months or at its rated capacity, whichever comes first.

After the change: On a HydroTap, open Filter reset on the command centre screen after the flush and reset the internal filter counter. A ChillTap, Filter Tap or mixer has its own guide.

91290 is Zip's GlobalPlus 0.2 micron cartridge for G4 HydroTaps made before February 2017. It replaces the earlier 91291. It hangs in the command centre under the sink and twists out a quarter turn. Zip says HydroTaps made after February 2017 take the MicroPurity 93701 instead. Replace it at its rated capacity or every 12 months, whichever comes first.

After the change: After the flush, go to Menu > Installation > Filter reset and press Internal filter; the filter percentage on the home screen goes back to 100%.

91240 is Zip's sub-micron (0.5 micron) triple-action cartridge. Zip UK sells it as the filter for HydroTaps older than the G4, which means the G3 range sold before 2014. It sits behind the left-hand door, or front cover on compact units, of the command centre under the sink. Check the code on your old cartridge before you order.

After the change: On a G3, scroll to Litres Filtered and press Adjust up twice to reset, then do the same for Filter Use (Days); the white filter light stops flashing.
