How to change the blade in your Victa Corvette 100

- 1Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug lead, wedging it well away from the plug. Put on heavy gloves.
- 2Work from the grass catcher flap with the rear flap secured. If you need to tip the mower, tilt the handle back so the front wheels lift and the spark plug points to the sky.
- 3Undo each blade nut while pressing the bolt head up into the blade disc so the bolt cannot turn, then remove the old blades, bolts and washers.
- 4Fit the two new blades with the new bolts, washers and nuts in the order shown on the pack, pushing each bolt head into the disc.
- 5Tighten the nuts to 14-19 Nm, checking by turning the nut, not the bolt.
