How to change the blade in your Victa Utility 725EXi

- 1Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug lead, moving it well away from the plug. Put on heavy gloves. Do not lay the mower on its side.
- 2Work from the grass catcher flap with the rear flap secured, or tilt the handle back so the front wheels lift and the spark plug points up.
- 3Undo each blade nut while pressing the bolt head up into the blade disc so the bolt cannot turn, then remove the old blades, bolts and washers.
- 4Fit the new blades with the new bolts, washers and nuts in the order shown on the pack, pushing each bolt head into the disc. Change both blades together.
- 5Tighten the nuts firmly; Victa's domestic manuals give 14-19 Nm.
