How long it lasts
Replace it when the gas runs out. SodaStream says a 60 L cylinder makes up to 60 L of sparkling water, depending on the level of carbonation and the machine.
After replacing: No reset on most machines. On the Fresh Plus, after fitting a full cylinder, press and hold the CO2 indicator button for 3 seconds: it flashes white, then goes off.
How to change the gas cylinder in your SodaStream Fresh Plus

- 1Take the bottle off the machine first. SodaStream says never fit or change a cylinder while a bottle is attached.
- 2Remove the seal from the full Quick Connect cylinder and pull off the cap.
- 3Remove or pull open the back cover (on the Enso, open the cylinder compartment) and raise the cylinder handle: pink on Terra, E-Terra, Art, Duo and Gaia; black on Fresh and Fresh Plus.
- 4Lift out the empty cylinder and put the full one in bottom first.
- 5Lower the cylinder handle to click it in, then refit the back cover. On the Fresh Plus, hold the CO2 indicator button for 3 seconds to reset it.
- 6Keep the empty cylinder to exchange for a full one.
