Z1-R is Puretec's Ultra Z quick-twist cartridge, rated at 0.1 micron. Puretec names it for its Tripla filter and tap kits (Z1-T and Z1-E), the Z12 and Z18 under-sink filters and the SPARQ boiling and sparkling taps. It hangs under a filter head in the cupboard and twists out a quarter turn. Puretec's change interval depends on the system: 6 months on Tripla kits, up to 12 months on SPARQ.
