How to change the burr in your Baratza Encore ESP

- 1Grind out any beans left in the hopper and unplug the grinder.
- 2Turn the hopper fully anticlockwise so its indicator lines up with the triangle near setting 40, and lift it off.
- 3Turn the grind adjustment ring fully anticlockwise with its two tabs, then lift the ring burr straight out by its lifting tabs. Keep the hopper gasket.
- 4Check the cone burr is in place, then fit the new ring burr with its red tab on the red mark and its three side tabs in the three slots, and press it down.
- 5Put the hopper gasket back on the ring burr, thick side down, then refit the hopper at the triangle near 40 and turn it clockwise until it clicks.
