Breville's current espresso machine filter is the ClaroSwiss Water Filter, sold as BES008 with multi-packs coded BCC009 (2 pack) and BCC010 (4 pack); it fits the Oracle, Oracle Touch, Oracle Jet, Dual Boiler, Barista Touch, Barista Touch Impress and Bambino. Breville says to replace it every 90 days. Older machines use a different filter (BWF100), so check which filter your machine takes before ordering.

1Soak the new filter in cold water for 5 minutes, then rinse it briefly under the cold tap.
2Wash the filter holder and set the reminder dial two months ahead.
3Insert the filter into the holder and push the holder firmly onto the adapter in the bottom of the water tank.
4Refill the tank with fresh cold water — done. Replace every 2 months or 60 tank refills.
