  1. 1Empty the drip tray and used capsule container. With the machine on, hold the three coffee buttons for 6 seconds until it beeps and the buttons blink.
  2. 2Fill the water tank with one bottle of descaler and 500 ml of water. Put a container that holds at least 800 ml under the coffee outlet.
  3. 3Make sure the slider is closed and press any coffee button to start. The machine stops by itself when the tank is empty.
  4. 4Pour the collected solution back into the tank, empty the drip tray and press any button to descale a second time.
  5. 5Empty and rinse the tank, drip tray and cup support, fill the tank with fresh water and press any button to rinse. The machine stops when the tank is empty; repeat the rinse twice.
  6. 6Hold the three buttons for 6 seconds until it beeps to leave descaling mode.
